How to Care for Luxe Silk Fabric

The care and method of cleaning silk, can determine its longevity.  We use a 19 momme Charmeuse Silk.  Silk fabrics can be used in cold water machine wash in gentle cycle, or hand wash in lukewarm water.  Below is the care guide for your silk collection:

• It is recommended the best method in maintenance with Dupioni Silk Bonnets should be hand washed only.   This will assist in retaining the integrity of the bonnet and its shape.
• Drawstring Silk Bonnets, Pillowcases, Scarfs, Silk Skull Caps should be hand washed in lukewarm or cool water with a small amount of mild shampoo and cool water rinse . Also, machine washed on the gentle cycle using a mild soap as well.
• Do Not Soak Any of the silk for a prolonged period.
• Rub gently to eradicate stains.
